Challenge
Compass Training Centre, a new venture of the YWCA Peterborough, Victoria and Haliburton, provides customized training for non profit, governmental and private sector clients seeking successful and sustainable organizational change.
The challenge was to differentiate the company amid the vast marketplace for training. Additionally, the staff who were highly trained in their core area of expertise needed a crash course in sales and marketing.

We interviewed their initial clients to understand their key strengths and unique abilities. Client surveys can reveal a lot about future potential! We used this as a jumping off point for their positioning.

Developed a menu of services for mid and large size corporations seeking to become a workplace that is inclusive and welcoming and where all employees are engaged.

Integrated new service offering and client testimonials into a user-friendly e-newsletter and set them up with an e-mail marketing system to track responses.

Provided a turn key sales kit including call scripts, targets, email templates, introductory offers, follow up tools. This made sales calls less stressful and more productive for the team.

Staff learned how to successfully execute the sales strategy and maintain a contact database of prospects.
