Violence against women is the world's largest human rights violation. Canada is no exception. Durham Region has one of the highest incidences of domestic violence in our province.
Our supporters have come alongside us to help carry out our vision of an inclusive community where women, children, youth and families are safe, inspired and empowered to grow.

We are excited about Lowe's support to raise funds for our Brighter Futures Backyard Project at Y's WISH Shelter.
Members of the public can help by donating at the cash register in Lowe's Oshawa or Lowe's Whitby locations.
The promotion runs March 7 - April 4.
In the spring, Lowe's staff will turn the very ordinary backyard into a welcoming, peaceful and enjoyable outdoor space for the women and children who find themselves at our shelter.
