Interim Housing
Homelessness is a reality in our region.
Lack of affordable housing, sexual assault, mental health concerns, and addictions contribute to homelessness.
We can help with interim and supportive housing as well as outreach, counselling and support services.
Interim Housing
YWCA Durham offers a 6-bed, longer term housing program for single women without a home.
Located in the safe environment of a 40-unit apartment building, residents work with an Interim Housing Coordinator to secure permanent housing in the community. Once residents move into permanent housing in the community, the Interim Housing Coordinator continues to offers assistance to help with a successful transition.
